Projects
Take a walk with me through the projects that have shaped who I am :)
Precision Planting Project
Founder and Lead Engineer
The Precision Planting Project democratizes access to advanced farming technology for small-scale farmers, empowering them to optimize crop growth with the TerraIncubator—a custom PID controller and sensor system that tracks essential soil metrics like N-P-K levels and moisture.
Leading the design and distribution of the TerraIncubator, the TerraIncubator is certified by the NSTDA, the largest research institution in Thailand. Think of it as a green revolution in a box. With 350 farms and counting, we’re turning data into dirt, and dirt into money.
DurianAuthority
Founder and Lead Developer
Durian Authority transforms the way consumers choose durians, making it easier to pick the perfect fruit through an 8-criteria rating system. Developed in collaboration with durian producers, the system evaluates key qualities like sweetness, creaminess, seed size, and fragrance. Each durian comes with a rating score, paired with a traceability system that lets consumers track their durian’s journey from farm to table, strengthening consumer trust.
Designing the rating system in collaboration with growers, and developed a traceability platform that connects consumers with the origins of each fruit. Each and every durian variety was lab-tested with precision by my own hands, unfortunately making me unable to argue with my "stinky boy" nickname.
H2Grow
Founder and Lead Field Officer
H2Grow started as a mission to bring smarter, sustainable water management to Thai farmers struggling through droughts. With a hybrid system that blends solar and grid-powered pumps, we decrease water costs by up to 48%. Our other innovation, AquaLift, is a simple yet powerful device that uses the hammer effect to pump water. Today, H2Grow is a network of 10,000 farmers exchanging strategies and solutions to make water management more affordable and effective.
I am proud to have worked with everyone from local farmers to academic professors in helping build a community where farmers support each other to adapt, grow, and thrive in unpredictable times.
First Author of "Impediments to Competitiveness in Thai Durian Market Using a Structural Equation Model"
Published in International Conference Hosted By Southeast Bangkok University (COMCI 2024)
This research examines the key barriers affecting the Thai durian market’s competitiveness, particularly in exports to China. Using a Structural Equation Model, I analyzed how factors like marketing strategy, delivery efficiency, and high shipping costs impact the market’s ability to compete. The findings reveal a disproportionate profit share for middlemen and exporters over farmers, and highlighted the extend to which marketing plays a role in influencing exporters' competitiveness.
